About

Philanthropy

Realising philanthropic efforts through the Pallion Foundation.

Inspired by the purity and permanence of precious metals, the Pallion Foundation is forging a golden, more sustainable Australia through investment in health, innovation, education, culture and the arts. As part of the Pallion group of companies, ABC Bullion is proud to support these efforts.

Medical

The Pallion Foundation’s philanthropy in the field of medicine is dedicated to advancing cancer research, strengthening paediatric healthcare, and expanding access to essential health services for vulnerable Australians.

Through long-standing partnerships with Tour de Cure and the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation, Pallion supports pioneering medical research and world-class care that improve health outcomes for children, families and communities across the country.

Through its support of Street Side Medics, the Foundation champions more equitable access to healthcare for people experiencing homelessness, ensuring essential medical services reach those who might otherwise go without care.

Through its partnership with the Gidget Foundation, Pallion also supports the mental wellbeing of new and expectant parents across Australia.

Innovation

The Pallion Foundation’s commitment to advancing scientific innovation and environmental conservation is reflected in its support of RMIT’s pioneering research into gold-based metallodrugs, and the Great Barrier Reef Foundation’s coral restoration and reef resilience initiatives.

Through the donation of ABC Bullion Australian gold, Pallion helps enable groundbreaking cancer research at RMIT, while its partnership with the Great Barrier Reef Foundation contributes to the conservation and restoration of one of the world’s most significant natural ecosystems.

Together, these partnerships demonstrate Pallion’s commitment to supporting science-led solutions that create lasting benefits for people and the planet.

Education

The Pallion Foundation’s commitment to educational outcomes is focused on expanding opportunity, elevating craftsmanship, and supporting the next generation of talent across Australia’s creative, technical and scientific industries.

Through long-standing partnerships with leading vocational and tertiary institutions, including WorldSkills, TAFE NSW and the University of New South Wales, Pallion nurtures emerging jewellers and silversmiths, supports equitable access to materials science and visual arts education, and champions the value of skilled trades as drivers of innovation and societal progress.

From fostering hands-on learning and industry engagement to reducing financial barriers for talented students, Pallion’s education initiatives help ensure that potential is recognised, supported and empowered to shape the future.

Culture

The Pallion Foundation believes that creativity, access and artistic excellence are essential to a thriving society and a golden future for all.

Through its support of the Australian Chamber Orchestra’s Foundations program, Pallion helps deliver music education to children in under-resourced schools, opening pathways that support learning, wellbeing and future opportunity.

In parallel, Pallion’s annual support of Sydney Dance Company contributes to the creation of new works and the expansion of transformative dance experiences across Australia, nurturing emerging talent and celebrating Australian artistry.

Together, these partnerships reflect Pallion’s belief that access to the arts enriches lives, strengthens communities and helps create a more vibrant and inclusive future.

Arts

Pallion’s commitment to strengthening Australia’s artistic landscape is reflected in its support of leading cultural institutions and the artists who shape our national identity. Central to this commitment is the Pallion Arts Program, which creates opportunities for artists to work with Australian precious metals through ambitious, artist-led collaborations.

Through its partnership with the National Gallery of Australia—including the long-term loan of Abundance, the inaugural artwork of the Pallion Arts Program—Pallion contributes to the visibility, accessibility and ongoing enrichment of Australia’s national collection.

At the Art Gallery of New South Wales, the Pallion Garden Terrace creates an enduring public space where art, landscape and community converge, while providing a platform for significant contemporary sculpture.

As Gold Partner of the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia’s Artists Ball, Pallion helps support Australia’s leading museum of contemporary art while ensuring practising artists remain at the centre of the celebration.

With additional support for the Venice Biennale, Pallion champions Australian creativity both nationally and internationally. Together, these partnerships demonstrate Pallion’s commitment to empowering artists, enriching communities and creating lasting cultural legacies.
